Now imagine layering in moody murals, a purple bathtub (yes, really), and enough marble to make Versailles jealous. That’s exactly what we did with our latest design crush: “A Vibrant Parisian Inspired Craftsman” in the heart of Winnetka Heights.

Spoiler alert—it’s extra, in the best way.

A Love Letter to Historic Architecture (With a French Accent)

This project was all about duality: honoring the warmth and integrity of Craftsman design while infusing it with a Parisian spirit that’s unapologetically bold which is just what the homeowners wanted. Think intricate trimwork paired with custom herringbone white oak floors. Adding a woodburning traditional fireplace outfitted with handcrafted built-ins. Then? A walk-in wine room clad with cerused black stained white oak walls that holds 200+ bottles because, obviously.
