A Little Bit Boho: A Playful Bathroom with Designer Polish

Welcome to the boldest little bathroom on the block. In this Dallas home, we brought our client’s personality to life with a space that feels collected, clean, and totally unexpected. From soft green cabinetry to a wink of pattern play, this room proves that even the smallest spaces can carry serious design weight.

This project—nicknamed “A Little Bit Boho”—was all about layering. Think polished chrome meets natural marble, and playful color against tailored trim. We started with the stunning Grow House Grow wallpaper in the Marseille Marrakech pattern. The soft red linework draws you in without overwhelming the room, and it pairs beautifully with the half-wall of vertical paneling below.

The bathroom layout is long and narrow, but that didn’t stop us from going full glam. We grounded the room with honed marble hex tile and added warmth with a vintage runner in dusty earth tones. This combo sets the tone for a space that’s as cozy as it is curated.

Texture was key. The veining in the marble floor tile and vanity top brings softness and movement, while chrome hardware and fixtures provide a fresh, modern counterpoint. The cabinet pulls are from Atlas Homewares’ Oskar collection in polished chrome. Sleek but weighty, they echo the clean lines of the Kohler Purist widespread faucet.

To keep the space feeling light, we opted for a floating vanity look with open sightlines beneath. And because function never takes a back seat, we added a large integrated sink, perfect for kid-friendly use or just fewer water spills during your skincare routine.

Bathroom Wallpaper Inspo

Next to the mirror, the Mitzi Stella globe sconces provide soft, even lighting. They’re mounted directly onto the wallpaper, which makes them feel like jewelry for the wall. You’ll spot a few sculptural accessories here too, a vintage-style soap pump and a little brass animal because we never take ourselves too seriously.

In the shower, we ran the same marble hex up the wall with a custom niche for bottles and soap. Keeping the palette tight lets the tile do the talking, and the built-in niche keeps everything tucked away cleanly.

Zooming out, the symmetry and flow of the layout allow the pattern to shine without chaos. The mirror’s soft round shape breaks up all the right angles, and the curved light globes keep things feeling fresh and modern.

Finally, we tied it all together with color. The cabinetry is painted in a dusty aqua tone that brings out the warmth in the wallpaper and lets the polished chrome accents gleam. It’s proof that color can still feel classic when done right.

This bathroom might be small, but it packs a serious design punch. If you’re dreaming of a space with personality, polish, and playfulness, we’d love to bring your vision to life.
